CALIFORNIA : SONOMA COUNTY : RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY
Pinot Noir
MED-FULL-BODIED, FIG, BLACK PLUM, CLOVE, COFFEE, COCOA POWDER, HAY, TOAST, OAK
A dark and compelling example of Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley. Rich, perfumed dark fruit aromas on the nose are met by spicy black fig, coffee, cocoa powder, and oak toast flavors on the palate. Undeniably a dense and brooding wine, it remains lifted and nuanced, with a lovely softness to the mouthfeel and a gratifyingly long finish that carries notes of clove, nutmeg, and other barrel spices.
