A wine as powerful as it is elegant from one of the more understated producers in the appellation. A dedicated and meticulous grower, Bernard Burgaud operates in a traditional style with a Burgundian approach to winemaking. He believes that that blending of his terroirs results in a more complete, balanced wine: his Côte-Rôtie is from average 35 year old vines across all of his holdings. 15-18 months spent in small oak barriques (20% new); unfined and unfiltered.
