Riesling
LIGHT-BODIED, DRY, LIME, FLINT, SEA BREEZE, GREEN APPLE, USED OAK
From a very old vineyard near the village of Niedermenninger, Falkenstein’s Kabinett Trocken (the driest and lightest style of German Riesling) is zippy, crunchy, stony, and ethereal, with restrained fruit, tense acidity, and impossibly clean minerality. Hand harvested and matured on the lees in 1,000L barrels for 3-9 months before bottling.

Château Belá is an ancient property located on the banks of Danube River in southern Slovakia, where the first vines were planted by the Romans. Today, (FYI: Slovakia has been operating under EU wine laws since 2005) the Château works in collaboration with Ergon Müller and Miroslav Petrech, celebrated winemakers from Germany and the Slovak Republic, to produce Rieslings (and some Cabernet Sauvignon) that rival the great wines of Germany, Austria, and Alsace.
