The nose is very aromatic with plummy fruit, wet leather, and stewed berries with a bit of earthiness. Beautifully high-toned with notes of tart red cherry and wild raspberry on the palate.

Gaglioppo, a native variety to the Italian “boot”, is sometimes referred to the “Nebbiolo of the South”. The palate is rich, full and dominated by sweet fruit. Aromas of red cherry, cranberry and red roses that transfer to the palate, which has dusty tannins and a nice long finish. Umami galore!

A hauntingly aromatic, pure, and delicately sculpted wine. Finely detailed fruit on the nose that recall wild cherry tinged with blood orange and wild herbs. On the palate, it’s lucid and tender and finishes long.
