FRANCE : LOIRE VALLEY : PAYS NANTAIS
Cabernet Franc, Gamay, Négrette
MED-BODIED, PLUM, BLACK & RED RASPBERRY, HERBAL, MINERAL, NO OAK
This elegant blend of Cab Fanc, Gamay, and Négrette (a dark skinned grape primarily grown in South West France) is from the Fiefs Vendéens region on the western edge of the Loire Valley, where the vineyards benefit from the cooling influence of the Atlantic Ocean. Classic Loire Valley, with lots of concentrated dark fruit and fine tannins. Overall, very gneiss.
