France : Beaujolais : Chiroubles
MEDIUM-BODIED, RED/BLACK FRUIT, GREEN, HERB, NEUTRAL OAK
No carbonic maceration here! A beautiful example of what Cru Beaujolais can and should be. Zippy, yet still succulent and lush with fresh, ripe blackberries and raspberries and a fragrant, herbal green note. Almost becomes reminiscent of a Burgundian pinot after fully opening.
SPAIN : GALICIA : RIBEIRA SACRA
MEDIUM BODIED, RED FRUIT, FLORAL, LIGHT, BRIGHT, NEUTRAL OAK
A hauntingly aromatic, pure, and delicately sculpted wine. Finely detailed fruit on the nose that recall wild cherry tinged with blood orange and wild herbs. On the palate, it’s lucid and tender and finishes long.
