Italy : Valle d’Aosta
Barbera, Friesa, Ciliegiolo, Dolcetto, Gamay, Petit Rouge, Fumin, Premetta
LIGHT-MEDIUM BODIED, RED FRUIT, CRISP, SOFT TANNIN, NEUTRAL OAK
From the valley between the French and Italian Alps, the region is known more for ski resorts than grapes. However this wine is worth the effort. Red fruit and spice intertwine with earth and soft tannins to create a lovely red, even better with a chill.
SPAIN : GALICIA : RIBEIRA SACRA
MEDIUM BODIED, RED FRUIT, FLORAL, LIGHT, BRIGHT, NEUTRAL OAK
A hauntingly aromatic, pure, and delicately sculpted wine. Finely detailed fruit on the nose that recall wild cherry tinged with blood orange and wild herbs. On the palate, it’s lucid and tender and finishes long.
