This remarkably fresh, refined Riesling from Franz Hirtzberger (one of the most important producers in the Wachau Valley) is solidly medium-bodied, and fruity but clean -- with lots of fleshy white and tropical fruit alongside flinty mineral notes, sweet honey and spice, and lively acidity.
WINEMAKING : Fermentation in steel with native yeasts; aged in large foudre

Fun fact: Alta Vista was the first winery in Argentina to produce single vineyard wines! Their Brut Nature is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, 50% of which is estate fruit sourced from the Albaneve estate vineyard in the Uco Valley.
