Hendrick's is made in two separate stills — a 19th-century Bennett pot still where botanicals steep overnight before distillation, and a 1940s Carter-Head still where delicate botanicals are suspended in a basket and bathed in vapor. The two spirits are blended, then finished with a post-distillation infusion of Bulgarian rose petal essence and fresh cucumber essence.

Master Distiller Lesley Gracie launched it in 1999. The Wall Street Journal named it the best gin in the world in 2003, and it's earned multiple medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition since. Still made in small 500-litre batches at Hendrick's Gin Palace at the Girvan Distillery in Ayrshire.
