Château Belá is an ancient property located on the banks of Danube River in southern Slovakia, where the first vines were planted by the Romans. This particular bottling is an outstanding and unique expression of Clare Valley Riesling — zippy and dry, it is dominated by bright citrus fruit and crisp acidity, with some added texture & spice from skin contact and 8 months of lees-ageing. Fermentation occurs in a combination of stainless steel and ceramic amphora for two months. Unfined/unfiltered.

Berries undergo a few hours of skin contact to extract flavor before gentle pressing and fermentation in stainless steel; wine is aged on fine lees for ~3 months before bottling.
