The name "Chi" means "life force" and stands for CHIUTA (an Africa Rain god), as inspired by the scenic vineyards of the fertile Elgin valley from which it came.

Berries undergo a few hours of skin contact to extract flavor before gentle pressing and fermentation in stainless steel; wine is aged on fine lees for ~3 months before bottling.
