GEOGRAPHY: New York : Finger Lakes
VARIETALS: Elvira, Riesling
FARMING: Sustainable
WINEMAKING: Low-intervention/natural; no sulfites added; made in the Charmat method : unfermented juice used for tirage instead of adding sugar, secondary fermentation stopped early to leave some residual sweetness; no oak used
STYLE: Light-bodied, low-ABV, peach, pear, apple, mineral
ENJOY WHILE: Day drinking 🏖️
Refreshing and chug-able ... a blessing that it's only 8% ABV!
Seriously, though, there should be more amazing, low-alcohol wines on the market like this one -- with juicy but delicate fruit (white peach, yellow pear), clean mineral chalkiness, a touch of sweetness, and super-fine bubbles.
