Not quite a red, not quite a white, and definitely not a rosé (in our opinion, it most closely resembles a super light, chillable red)...Whatever you want to call it, 'Red Rizza' ("Rizza" is Aussie slang for Riesling) is undeniably fresh, delicious, easygoing, and unique.

Rich and layered (but light), this Pét Nat from the Osmote family's small winery on the eastern shore of Seneca Lake is equally beautiful in the glass as it is on the palate: a deep, dark – almost opaque – purple color rimmed with lovely fuchsia bubbles, the wine itself has lush bramble fruit with mint, violet and woodsy notes alongside zingy acidity and chalky tannins.

The Rivero Gonzalez family makes stunning, high-quality wines from a unique perspective, with deep regard for their Mexican heritage (prior to founding RGNY in 2018, they had been making wine in Coahuila, Mexico for over twenty years!). Their flagship Cab Franc is easy-drinking and fresh, but complex – with ripe berry fruit, a complex spice profile, soft tannins, and a long finish.
WINEMAKING : Low-intervention; hand-harvested; wine rests in oak barrels for ten months (45 % new oak, the rest neutral).
