Russell Hearn has been making wine on the North Fork of Long Island since 1993 — now doing it under one roof at Suhru & Lieb Vineyards, the 2023 merger of his two North Fork labels. The Pinot Grigio is stainless all the way: fermented in tank, then four months on the lees before bottling. That sur lie contact adds a quiet textural weight that keeps the citrus and stone fruit from feeling thin. Twelve percent ABV. Maritime-grown fruit from Long Island Sound and Peconic Bay country.
The 250ml can is the honest packaging choice here: a single cold pour, sealed against oxidation, ready for the beach, the boat deck, or the oyster bar. Same wine, better suited to the occasion.
