LIGHT-BODIED, DRY, RED BERRY, GRAPEFRUIT, FLORAL, NO OAK
This cloudy, curious rose comes from an esteemed biodynamic producer in Vinho Verde pioneering experimental techniques such as the use of chestnut flowers in order to stabilize his wines ... pretty cool stuff. ITALY : VENETO
LIGHT-BODIED, WILD RED BERRIES, MINERAL, SPICE, SMOKE, NO OAK
“Sehnsucht” (meaning, “wistful longing” in German) is a fresh, summer-y rosé with ripe red fruit, clean minerality, and savory, subtle bites of pepper and smoke on the finish. At the foot of Monte Grappa in Veneto is the small, family-owned winery from whence it came — certified “natural” by the Vinnatur Association, Calalta’s reliance on natural, minimal intervention processes in the vineyard and in the cellar is nothing short of militant…and hey, it works.

MED-FULL-BODIED, RED/DARK FRUIT, HERBS, SOFT TANNINS, NEUTRAL OAK
This is Bordeaux unlike any other coming from entirely family owned estate. The nose presents lively ripe red cherry fruit with a touch of black currant liqueur and forest floor. Great presence of minerality with silken, velvety texture on the palate. Graceful and elegant.

MEDIUM-FULL BODIED, RED FRUITS, CLOVE, MINERAL, NEUTRAL OAK
Fruit sourced from 4 different growers from 200 year old plots, with vines aged 45-70 years. If you do the math it equates to pure deliciousness! Ripe red fruit and minerally aromas draw in the bouquet. The palate is savory with notes of tomato, cherry, and saline, finishing on a faintly smoky note.

Vivanterre (“living earth”) is the ambitious and hugely successful endeavor of natural winemaker Patrick Bouju, fashion designer Rosie Assoulin, and sommelier Cedric Nicaise of Eleven Madison Park. To be honest, we’re pretty excited to have gotten our hands on just a few bottles of the highly-anticipated 2020 Orange Contact SGS, and gently suggest that you snap it up while it lasts. :)
