The Alexakis family has farmed Crete since the 1970s, sourcing from high-elevation vineyards where volcanic and clay soils push Assyrtiko toward a rounder profile than the Santorini benchmark. This 2024 spends three months on the lees after fermentation — a modest addition that builds texture without adding weight. Assyrtiko's electric acidity is well-represented here.
