The Canary Islands’ volcanic soils are some of the oldest and most complex in Europe, creating a unique mineral backbone in Ambora’s wines. The “El Roquillo” comes from old vines planted on steep terraces carved into volcanic rock, making vineyard work extremely labor-intensive and hand-harvested — a true expression of terroir and tradition.
