A true Carneros wine legend and pioneer, Francis Mahoney co-founded the famed Carneros Creek Winery in 1972 — incidentally the region’s first winemaking facility since the repeal of Prohibition. His latest project is Carneros Ranch, an offshoot of the greater Mahoney wine portfolio that aims to produce a modern style of fresh, fruit-forward wines that are characteristically rich and layered, but with greater emphasis on balance, accessibility, and affordability.
