Cochonnet Rosé 2024 1L
Cochonnet Rosé 2024 1L
FRANCE : SOUTHERN RHÔNE : LUBERON
BIODYNAMIC : Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah
MED-BODIED, PEACH, STRAWBERRY, MINERAL, HERBAL, NO OAK
Château Fontvert has farmed 20 hectares at the foot of the Luberon mountains since the 1950s — certified organic and biodynamic (Demeter) since 2008, with limestone and sandy marl soils that hold natural acidity through harvest. Grapes are hand-picked and fermented with native yeast.
The Cochonnet label is the house entry point: a one-liter screw-cap bottle designed for immediate pleasure. The 2024 vintage was challenged by a wet spring across Southern France, but the vines that made it through delivered concentrated, lower-alcohol fruit with bright acidity — a strong vintage for a dry, fresh-drinking rosé.
PAIRINGS :
| Grilled whole fish with lemon and herbs | mineral and fresh herb notes echo the grill; enough weight to meet the fish |
| Niçoise salad | regional match — the wine's salinity and stone fruit play against tuna and olives |
| Goat cheese crostini | the wine's minerality and dry finish cut through the cheese cleanly |
