Jean-Bernard and Catherine Chauvin, joined by their son Denis — the fourth generation of the family on this estate since 1920 — farm 35 hectares of certified-organic Anjou on schist and limestone clay in St. Lambert du Lattay. The Anjou Blanc comes from 20-year-old Chenin Blanc vines, harvested by hand, fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel, and aged six months on fine lees with occasional battonage before bottling.

Classic dry Loire Chenin: mineral-edged, clean, and built for the table without breaking the bank.
