The Fellot family has farmed these limestone-and-granite slopes between the Brouilly hill and the Nizerand valley since 1829, and Emmanuel Fellot now runs the estate with his wife Nadege and their three daughters. The domaine calls itself farmers before winemakers — cover crops, free-range cattle, and hedgerows for wildlife sit alongside the organic-certified vines.
Chardonnay is a rarity in Gamay country, and this stainless-steel-aged bottling leans into that contrast: fresh, round, and mineral rather than oaked or heavy.
