Domaine Tournon Mathilda Rosé 2018
Domaine Tournon Mathilda Rosé 2018
AUSTRALIA : VICTORIA : PYRENEES
Grenache
Light-bodied, STRAWBERRY, RASPBERRY, WATERMELON, BRIGHT, NO OAK
Domaine Tournon is Michel Chapoutier's Australian project, established to apply Rhône-inspired winemaking to some of Australia's most underrated regions. The Mathilda Rosé is made from 100% Grenache grown in Victoria's Pyrenees region — hand-picked at night for freshness, whole-bunch pressed, and vinified cold to preserve fruit character. No oak at any stage: the goal is transparency and immediate drinkability.
Pale salmon-pink in the glass. The nose is clean and fragrant: fresh strawberry, raspberry, and a hint of watermelon. The palate is light-bodied with crisp acidity and a refreshing, dry finish. A beautifully made, accessible rosé from one of the Rhône Valley's most celebrated winemakers, applied to Australian fruit with discipline and restraint.

| Grilled Salmon | light weight and fresh fruit notes complement delicate fish without overwhelming it |
| Lamb Salad | Grenache's earthy-fruit quality bridges light lamb and fresh greens |
