Cabernet Franc
MED-BODIED, DRIED CHERRY, RHUBARB, BROWN SUGAR, STONE, NEUTRAL OAK
The Rogue Valley AVA in southern Oregon is what they call a “Goldilocks zone” in terms of producing (some of the best) Cabernet Franc (in the world) — warm enough to get grapes ripe, but cool enough to keep sugar levels low and allow the individual winemaker to create their desired style. Spontaneously fermented; 100% whole cluster; aged in neutral French oak for 8 months; incredibly complex & lacking in nothing.

Fruit is very well balanced between black cherry, blackberry, and cassis. Dark and full-bodied beauty, with a long, slightly peppery finish and just a touch of violets.
