Distilled at Glenmorangie's home in Tain, Ross-shire, using the tallest pot stills in Scotland — a 16-foot-10-inch neck that allows only the lightest, most delicate vapors to reach the condenser. The result is a particularly refined single malt: clean stone fruit and citrus up front, vanilla and cream from 10 years in ex-bourbon American white oak.

The Original served as the entry point to the Glenmorangie range for decades — one of the best-selling single malts in the world before being retired in mid-2024, when the 12 Year Old replaced it on shelves. What stock remains is the last of it. Worth picking up on the way out.
