Hecht & Bannier has been certified organic by Ecocert since 2007 — one of the first négociants in southern France to achieve organic certification across all sourced fruit. They're also B Corp certified and a member of 1% for the Planet. These certifications predate the market demand for them by a decade.
The rosé is sourced from five distinct zones within Côtes de Provence: inland sites at Saint Antonin, Entrecasteaux, Carcès, and Pourrières for restraint and minerality, and coastal La Londe-les-Maures for Cinsault grown a few meters from the Mediterranean. Grenache and Syrah are co-macerated so Syrah's mineral reduction tempers Grenache's naturally oxidative tendency. Night harvest, 3am–9am, locks in the aromatic precision. 88 points, Wine Enthusiast.
