Kenny Likitprakong started Camp in 2011 to prove that North Coast California could deliver certified organic wine at a price people would actually reach for. The fruit comes from three organically farmed sources: the Morrison Vineyard in Sonoma Valley and the Gibson Vineyard in Mendocino for the Merlot, and the Lolonis Vineyard in Redwood Valley — one of California's oldest continuously organic-farmed estates — for the Cabernet Sauvignon component.
All lots ferment in stainless steel with native yeast and bacteria, no commercial aids, no additives. The result is soft and plush, built for the table: ripe blackberry and black cherry up front, a wink of spice box on the finish, and tannin that sits back and lets the food do the talking.
