“Lacrau” (meaning “scorpion” in Portuguese) relies on the four main grape varietals used for Port production, each sourced from different sites with mineral-rich brown schist soils. Neither overblown nor overripe, this bottle is proof of just how plush and silky a Douro blend can be, especially with a few years in the bottle. Drink now-2028.
