The Sacy family has farmed Grand Cru plots in Verzy since 1633 — 20 hectares across the Montagne de Reims, blended from three distinct terroirs (Bligny, Cernay, Treslon) and aged against a 2019 base with 25% reserve wines. Wine Enthusiast, 89 pts.

It’s simply a better crafted sparkling wine than some of the more recognized Champagne brands with much larger marketing budgets. A bargain at $40 and possibly (I dare say) a weekend Champagne.
