Elegant and savory, with rich dark fruit and very light tannins, this outstanding expression of California Syrah comes from the Kessler Haak Vineyard in the Santa Rita Hills AVA. Located just 12 miles from the Pacific Ocean, this exceptionally cool site benefits from Northwestern ocean breezes that chill the vines and extend their ripening window, as well as well-draining sandy loam soils that naturally limit yields. The result is ripe, well-concentrated grapes that require very little manipulation in the cellar to reach their full potential. Drink now or hold. 100% organically farmed.
