From high-altitude vineyards in the Calchaqui Valley — 5,500 to 6,600 feet above sea level, with over 330 days of sunshine and less than eight inches of rain per year — CUMA takes its name from the Aymara word for "pure and clean." Michel Torino has farmed organically since the estate's founding in 1892, and holds both Ecocert and Fair for Life certifications.
Classic Cafayate Torrontés: intensely floral on the nose with rose petals and jasmine, then fresh peach and a cool, piercing acidity on the palate that keeps everything honest. Drink young.
