NUA sources from small family orchards in the Minho, one of Portugal’s oldest fruit-growing regions, working exclusively with rare indigenous apple varieties rarely found outside the north. Pipo de Basto contributes sweetness and juice; the rustic Porta da Loja adds structure, tannin, and a sharp bite. Nothing added, nothing taken away — just apple and time.

The 2018 vintage carries the complexity that comes from that patient approach — spontaneous fermentation, native yeast, and a long unhurried finish that still has something to say.
