Out-Take sources finished wine directly from established Sonoma Mountain producers — same wine as the tasting room, without the markup. This Pinot comes from vineyards first planted in the 1950s at elevations above the valley floor, where persistent morning fog slows ripening and volcanic soils add mineral complexity.
More tannic grip than coastal Sonoma expressions — a product of the mountain's thermal belt, where higher elevations sit above the fog line and the slow, unhurried ripening of 2023 added detail and lift. Built for the table, and with enough structure to reward a few years in the cellar.
