The Bea family has been in the Montefalco archives since 1500, and the vines that go into Arboreus climb actual maple and oak trees on the antique vite maritata system — Spoletino fruit hanging in the canopy at vine ages somewhere between 120 and 250 years.

The 2015 spent 22 days on the skins and at least two years on fine lees in stainless steel before bottling. No oak, no fining, no filtration, no added sulfur — and roughly 3,000 bottles produced for the world. Vinous 93 pts.
