‘Les Bessards’ is a single-vineyard selection limited to 6,000 (precious) bottles in every vintage. Deeply powerful and structured, it has spicy black fruit, crushed stone, and scorched earth tones held by bright acidity and fiercely wound tannins that will soften within a few years of bottle age.
DRINKING WINDOW : Hold until 2025 (if you can wait); decant for 1-3 hours before serving; cellaring potential through 2025 and beyond.

You know what? This wine is a lot like Serena Williams: strong, graceful, and complex. Black olive, mushroom, and caramel fill the bouquet. Structured tannins hold up like a wall against black cherry, pepper, and roasted chestnut notes on the palate. The finish is lovely, long and lush.
