A solid bottle of Cava exuding notes of ripe peach, brioche, and tart Granny Smith on the bouquet. The palate of stone fruit, lively bubbles, and nice acid finish on a toasty note.
Poema sources from 152 hectares spanning the high, central, and low reaches of Penedès — roughly 20% estate, the rest under long-term contract with vines averaging over 20 years old. Twelve months on the lees under Metodo Tradicional, with 55% free-run must pressed at three on-site facilities and fermented separately in stainless before the blend. At 15 g/L residual sugar, the Extra Dry sits just off-dry — a trace of sweetness balanced by the wine's natural acidity.
