CHILE : Sur : Bío-Bío Valley
Pais
LIGHT-MED-BODIED, BLUEBERRY, VIOLET, EARTH, MINERAL, HERBAL, SOME USED OAK
The lightest of Roberto Henriquez’s red wines, ‘Tierra de Pumas’ (which translates to “Cougar’s Land”) comes from 200+ year old vines of Pais in planted in a historic vineyard site near Santa Juana in the Bío Bío Valley, which is likely one of the oldest in Chile. The palate is bright and refreshing, with delicate tannin and low alcohol due to the slow-ripening character of the area.
