Terah Bajjalieh founded Terah Wine Co. in 2020 as a small-production natural wine project rooted in biodynamic farming and minimal intervention in the cellar. This Sangiovese comes from Rivers Edge Vineyard in the Mokelumne River AVA — a precisely drawn sub-appellation of Lodi where sandy loam soils over clay have supported the same block of vines since 1995.
Destemmed, fermented with native yeasts in open-top fermenters, then aged ten months in a combination of three-year-old 60-gallon barrels and neutral tank. No new oak, no filtration, no fining. CCOF Certified Organic. Demeter Certified Biodynamic.
