Pinot Noir
LIGHT-BODIED, FRESH CHERRY, CRANBERRY, EARTHY, NO OAK
Pays d'Oc IGP is the south of France's permissive catch-all designation — warm, sun-drenched, and flexible enough to grow Pinot Noir far outside its Burgundian home. That latitude produces something Burgundy rarely offers at this price: a genuinely light, food-friendly French Pinot Noir with the cherry-and-earth character of the variety intact, without the weight of the south's more native grapes.
The wine comes from La Fille du Boucher, a well-known kosher restaurant in Paris' 17th arrondissement — a place built around serious grilled meat. The house wine line exists to pair with that menu. It's mevushal (flash-pasteurized for full kosher compliance through distribution), certified OU and Kosher for Passover, and imported by Monsieur Touton Selection from New York. Drink it at the holiday table or on a Tuesday — the screw cap makes it easy either way.
PAIRINGS :
| Roasted chicken or turkey | the wine's light frame and fresh fruit sit comfortably against poultry fat without competing |
| Grilled lamb chops with herbes de Provence | cherry fruit lifts against the char; the earthy finish echoes the seasoning |
| Soft-ripened cheese | light tannin and bright acidity cut through creamy paste without overpowering it |
