Tito Beveridge built his first copper pot stills himself in south Austin in 1997 and obtained the first legal distilling permit in Texas since Prohibition. Almost every other vodka on the market runs through column stills — the industrial continuous-distillation equipment used for large-scale neutral spirit production. Tito's uses pot stills, the same batch equipment associated with single malt Scotch and Cognac, which adds slight body and texture to an otherwise neutral spirit.

Distilled six times from 100% corn and bottled at 80 proof. The corn base makes it naturally gluten-free; the pot still origin gives it more presence than most competitors at the same price. This 100mL miniature is the travel format — the full bottle retails around $24.
