Sourced from calcareous limestone soils between Buxy and Saint-Gengoux-le-National, where gentle east-facing slopes produce Pinot Noir with a classic Côte Chalonnaise character — regional Burgundy fruit without the Côte d'Or price tag.
The cooperative behind this wine was founded in 1931 by 98 growers who pooled resources during the Depression. Nearly a century later, 342 members farm 1,164 hectares across the Côte Chalonnaise and Mâconnais, with winemakers working alongside growers year-round to align harvest timing to vine maturity. Vinified in stainless steel and finished in neutral oak, the 2023 delivers bright red fruit and gentle structure built for drinking now through 2027.
