Antico Fuoco is Italian for "ancient fire," and this is wine for the table, not the trophy case. GREAT VALUE! "Baby Valpolicella": around Verona, Corvina is a core grape of Valpolicella, and it makes up 40% of the 2025, with Merlot as the other 60%.

The grapes are picked by hand in two passes, early September and mid October, then the wine spends 3 or 4 months in oak, which brings notes of spice and vanilla. The 2025 is off-dry at 14% alcohol, with soft tannins and a solid structure.
