Antico Fuoco — "ancient fire" — is a historic Veneto property built around a simple idea: wine for the table, not the trophy case. GREAT VALUE! "Baby Valpolicella" — and the comparison is fair. Corvina is the backbone of Valpolicella, and 40% of it in this blend delivers the bright cherry character and earthy lift the region is known for. Merlot accounts for the other 60%, rounding out the texture and adding the plum depth that makes the wine soft enough for mid-week pouring. Hand-harvested in September and aged 3–4 months in oak, it's a wine that knows exactly what it is.
