Francesco Cirelli farms 23 hectares near Atri, a certified organic estate within a WWF-protected nature reserve, where geese graze the vine rows and the soil is calcium-rich clay just 8 kilometers from the Adriatic. The Cerasuolo takes its name from the word for cherry: Montepulciano grapes, run briefly across skins in stainless steel to pull color and aromatics without red-wine structure.

The 2024 is bone-dry and built for the table. Redcurrant and cherry up front, then hibiscus and a savory clay note underneath, with a phenolic grip and ripe acidity that give it more frame than a Provençal rosé.
