Barkan is Israel's largest winery, sourcing from contracted vineyards across Galilee, Golan Heights, and the Jerusalem Mountains. The Classic series is their entry-level range — approachable and varietally correct, guided by head winemaker Ido Lewinsohn MW, one of only two Masters of Wine in Israel.

This is a Mevushal wine: flash-pasteurized and produced under OK Kosher supervision, which makes it fully observant even after opening. No tradeoff in the glass — the tannin structure and dark fruit profile hold up.
