Bisol Jeio Prosecco Rosé Millesimato 2020 Brut DOC 750mL
Bisol Jeio Prosecco Rosé Millesimato 2020 Brut DOC 750mL
ITALY : VENETO : PROSECCO DOC ROSÉ
SUSTAINABLE : Glera, Pinot Nero
LIGHT-BODIED, DRY, ROSE, WILD STRAWBERRY, CITRUS, NO OAK
The 2020 was the first official vintage of Prosecco DOC Rosé — approved by the Prosecco DOC Consortium that year — and Bisol's Jeio was among the inaugural producers. The wine comes from Follina in the heart of Valdobbiadene, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2019. At 15% Pinot Nero, it picks up just enough strawberry and floral character to read as rosé without blunting Glera's clean fruit-forward nature.
Secondary fermentation via the Martinotti method for a minimum of 60 days builds fine, persistent perlage. At 11% ABV it earns its place on the aperitivo table — light, but not thin.
PAIRINGS :
| Prosciutto and Brie crostini | salty, creamy contrast to the wine's dry, fruity finish |
| Strawberry and arugula salad | mirrors the wine's red fruit and herbal edge |
| Grilled shrimp skewers | light sweetness and char suit the wine's dry mineral character |
