The oldest rye Bulleit has ever bottled, and by a wide margin — the previous ceiling was a 12 year old. Indiana 95/5 distillate, then two decades in the 1935-era Stitzel-Weller warehouses in Louisville. Nicole Austin worked 82 barrels down to 48; by the time they were dumped, several had evaporated to nearly nothing.

What comes out at 137 proof still reads as rye. The Indiana spearmint and dill sit intact under the dried fruit, and the oak adds weight without taking over the profile — the usual failure of American whiskey at this age. Drinkhacker rated it A, 9.5 out of 10; The Whiskey Reviewer also gave it an A. Released July 2026 in a run of 1,776 individually numbered bottles.
