Blended from two estate vineyards, Annahala and Apple Barn, situated along Anderson Creek in Mendocino's Anderson Valley. Night-harvested from nine superior Pinot Noir clones, the 16 block lots ferment separately with native yeast before spending 13 months in 41% new French oak barrels.
Anderson Valley's proximity to the Pacific keeps temperatures cool and growing seasons long. Annahala, closer to the coast, yields lighter, more delicate fruit; Apple Barn, with gravel-rich soils and warmer afternoons, contributes structure and dark berry depth. Together they make something the Valley does uniquely well: fresh, aromatic Pinot built for the table.
