One of the oldest red bitters still in production — made by the Cappelletti family in Aldeno, just outside Trento, since 1906. Built on a base of Trebbiano, Pinot Bianco, and Garganega, colored naturally with carmine (no synthetic dye), carrying less sugar than Campari or Aperol. The result sits between a vermouth and a classic red bitter: bittersweet, precisely herbaceous, drying.

Fourth-generation producers Luigi and Maddalena Cappelletti do all production in-house. The wine base contributes acidity alongside the botanicals — a Negroni built with Cappelletti runs distinctly drier than the standard Campari build.
