Tequila Cayéya is the project of distilladora Zandra Gomez, whose blended reposado ages 6 months in a combination of American and French oak — a layering that sets vanilla-caramel weight from the American barrels against floral, dried-fig character from the French. The agave is single-estate Blue Weber, cooked in masonry brick ovens and distilled twice at NOM 1424 in San Juanito de Escobedo, Jalisco’s Los Valles.

The bottle is a recycled Pacifico beer bottle — amber glass from a family-owned factory in Jalisco, with recycled cork and labels throughout. The production commitment to recycled packaging is total.
