The original expression from the Carthusian Monks at the Grande Chartreuse monastery, produced since 1737 from 130 alpine botanicals according to a formula known only to two monks at any given time. Green Chartreuse is the more powerful of the two expressions — 110 proof, intensely herbal, with a menthol and anise complexity that deepens in the glass. Essential in the Last Word and the Naked and Famous, but holds its own as a digestif or poured over crushed ice. Limit one per customer.
