Bordeaux Supérieur is a Gironde appellation first recognized in 1943, and its reds are held until at least 15 June after the harvest before they can be sold. The region sits where the Dordogne and the Garonne meet to form the Gironde estuary, under an oceanic climate.

Château Camplay's 2024 is made kosher and mevushal, so it stays kosher whoever pours it. Floral and blackberry on the nose, eucalyptus and sweet toasted oak behind them, then well-structured tannins and a long, dry finish.
