Citto — 'good boy' in Tuscan dialect — blends Sangiovese from Volpaia's high-altitude Chianti Classico vineyards with Cabernet Sauvignon from their Maremma holdings. Made from 100% certified organic grapes, a standard the estate holds across every wine in the lineup.

Volpaia sits at 617 meters above Radda in Chianti — among the highest elevations in the appellation — on galestro and alberese soils that build tension and freshness into every pour of Sangiovese. The Maremma Cabernet Sauvignon fills in the mid-palate without weighing the wine down.
